Our Girls

"Beautiful in spirit...sincere at heart" just a few ways we could describe the enthusiastic Lisah Grant Moore. God has granted her a passion to serve others and a voice for speaking and mentoring women through ministry. "I've found myself fervently counseling with women, sharing a message of HOPE. I believe that God is faithful when we wait on Him, trust Him and BELIEVE the vision that He has established within us."

Years ago as a journalist her articles were featured in numerous magazines as she interviewed major celebrities in the music entertainment industry. That lifestyle soon led "behind the scenes" where the reality of the shine was but a deadly distraction of the destination that The Enemy had in store. "The money, power and drugs were tools used as eye candy to misdirect my focus on Christ" Lisah says. "I began to contemplate on making all the right moves that could further my career. I was a Preacher's Kid trying to make up for lost time. I became comfortable with a standard of living that was not pleasing to God."

Lisah celebrated with industry moguls, working with entertainment giants like Sean "Puffy" Combs, Suge Knight and music director Joseph Khan. "I was always professional and very conservative, yet still compromising with everything that was sin." She goes on to say, "There I was thinking I could ride the coattails of my upbringing; I was well educated on religion. I was more reserved than my peers and unimpressed with the trappings of fame. I did a lot things that appeared to be good...still I was so far from God, I didn't have that personal relationship with Him."

"They profess to know God, but by their deeds they deny Him, being detestable and disobedient and worthless for any good deed."
-Titus 1:16

"Over the course of my life I have seen highs and lows with people that I thought were genuine Christians. I saw some of the greatest examples of leadership fall and that caused me to doubt who God was to me and who I was with God. Life wasn't perfect like I envisioned Christianity to be. I wasn't so for sure that I needed Christ. I definitely rebelled. I became a revolutionary and declared my independence from Him. I never stopped believing in God but I stopped needing Him. I finally experienced life outside of the church bubble. It was a harsh reality and a rude awakening. I was flawed, impaired and defiled. I had made a horrible mistake..."

Lisa and Darrick Moore - 2003

The primary principles and core values that were established during childhood under the leadership of Prophet Howard L. Grant proved to be "seeds of faith" that were planted in good ground. With intercessory prayers from friends and family, Lisah returned home with a sincere dedication to Christ, birthing Our Girls, and a new lifestyle to please Him.

"...Still other seed fell on good soil. It came up, grew and produced a crop, multiplying thirty, sixty, or even a hundred times."
Mark 4:8

Prophet Grant's five children continue his legacy through music, prophecy, teaching and speaking. For years now, Lisah continues to WAIT on God. Waiting on God to move, heal, plant, restore, and prosper the vision. It is her witness to encourage women to wait on God for His promise of what has been placed in their heart.

"Whether that might be a promise for marriage, health, wealth or wisdom, it requires a heart of patience and a relentless relationship with Him. A woman's heart should be so lost in God that a man must seek him in order to find her."

In October of 2003 Lisah Grant became Lisah Moore when she walked down the aisle to marry her husband. Together, their ministry continues to be a message to the forgotten. Years later they persevere, entering into maximum facility prisons to pray with men, women, and the families of those incarcerated. "My prayer is that I am pleasing Him by being a servant for Him and an example to others of what patience can do." Mr. and Mrs. Moore live in Texas and have one son. The Moore family are dedicated members of Lakewood Church.
